DEC 2025 – We are pleased to announce that Oriole Cleaners has acquired the service operations of Carl Herrmann Furs. All fur services, including cold storage, cleaning, and repairs will continue under the business name Pittsburgh Fur Storage.

As part of this transition, your fur goods for cold storage will be secured in a brand new climate and humidity controlled fur vault. Your furs will continue to receive the highest level of professional care in a modern, purpose-built environment.

We are also happy to share that Mac, a longtime and trusted employee of Carl Herrmann Furs, will be continuing with Pittsburgh Fur Storage. His experience and familiarity with our customers and their garments provide added continuity and peace of mind.

We are honored to continue the legacy of excellence established by Carl Herrmann Furs and look forward to serving you as Pittsburgh Fur Storage.

Oriole Cleaners

Oriole Cleaners, located in Sewickley, PA, is Pittsburgh’s premier quality cleaners.  Quality is the number one concern at Oriole.  We strive to provide our customers with the highest quality customer service, dry cleaning and shirt laundry.

In addition to our dry cleaning services, we are able to service all of your speciality items, as well.  We service wedding gowns, suedes, leathers and furs, in addition to household items including rugs, drapes, slip covers, comforters, sheets and other bedding items.  We also offer tailoring and alterations, so if your pants are a little too tight or a little too long, have small tears, loose seams, or broken or missing buttons, no worries;  we got you covered!

Short on time? We can take care of your laundry too.  We offer wash and fold
laundry, priced by the pound. Where we wash, dry, fold your laundry just as you would on your own.  Home and office pick up and delivery is available in certain areas for your convenience as well.  This weekly service allows you to have Sewickley’s finest delivered to your door.
